PEUGEOT i-COCKPIT®, DRIVING REINVENTED

On board the Peugeot 308 range, you will experience the unique PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®. It’s philosophy centres around a driving environment that puts you in control, allowing a greater connection to the road. Elements key to this are the compact multi-function steering wheel that gives a heightened sense of agility, a head-up instrument panel that places key information closer to the road and the 9.7” capacitive touchscreen with smartphone levels of responsiveness.

CONNECTED 3D NAVIGATION

Take the stress out of driving with the Peugeot 308, with Connected 3D Navigation from Active level*. Linked to the 9.7” capacitive colour touchscreen, the system includes European mapping, 3D city mapping and voice recognition (for radio, navigation and telephone functions).

The system also includes a 3 year subscription to Peugeot Connect allowing an automatic, permanent connection to online navigation services (in partnership with TomTom®). Key features of Peugeot Connect include:

TomTom® Traffic: Real-time updates on traffic conditions (traffic jams, roadworks) and suggested alternative routes.
Local Weather: Displays forecasted weather condtions along the route.
Fuel Stations: Displays nearby fuel stations and pricing.
Local search: Access address and contact detail information for a point of interest

*Active and Allure versions require a permanent connection to a smartphone data source to access the TomTom® connected services.

MIRROR SCREEN®

Allows the mirroring of a compatible smartphone screen to access the key functionality on the handset. Once paired functions are displayed on the 9.7" capacitive colour touchscreen. Peugeot Mirror Screen® uses the following systems:

Screen features may vary by provider/phone and can include navigation, text display, text reading and media functionality voice control.

COLOUR REVERSING CAMERA

A camera located on the rear of the vehicle is linked to the 9.7” capacitive colour touchscreen. Offering increased visibility when reversing, you'll never look back.

A rear grid offers a clear view of obstructions to the rear of the vehicle coupled with grid lines oriented to the positioning of the steering wheel, offering perspective for distances of one and two metres respectively from the rear bumper.

CITY CAR PARK: INCLUDES BLIND SPOT MONITORING*

City Park: This system provides active assistance for parking by detecting a parking space and then operating the steering system to park in this space.

During a parking manoeuvre the vehicle operates the steering whilst the driver manages the pedals and gearbox control. During the entry and exit from a space the system provides visual and audible information to improve the safety of the manoeuvre. The system works with both parallel and bay parking.

Blind Spot Monitoring: also comes with the City park pack, this technology provides information to the driver during a journey, on the presence of a vehicle or motorcycle in the blind spot by means of four sensors mounted in the front and rear bumpers, if a vehicle is detected the driver is informed through the illumination of the LED light located in the door mirrors.

PANORAMIC FIXED CIELO GLASS ROOF

Enjoy the world outside with the Peugeot 308. Measuring 1.44m2 on hatchback models and 1.69m2 on SW models, this large fixed panel glass roof bathes the cabin in natural light.

An electric roller blind is also included, in either light grey or tramontane black, dependent on level. If the sunshine is too bright the electric blind is able to filter out 95% of natural light.

ROAD HANDLING

Because the pleasure of driving is all about control, the Peugeot 308 offers a high level of technical excellence for exemplary road handling. The suspension and tyres are designed to reflect either BlueHDi or PureTech engines for greater efficiency and optimal comfort.

DRIVER SPORT PACK

To increase the sporty temperament of the Peugeot 308, selected PureTech and BlueHDi engines can be specified with a Driver Sport Pack. By pressing the 'sport' button you will experience: increased responsiveness of power steering, engine and gearbox to accelerator pedal, a change in instrument panel colour to red (from white). Performance-related information is displayed on the head up instrument panel LCD display vehicle dynamic parameters - acceleration, power delivery, turbo whilst also amplifying engine sounds within the cabin.

DENON HI-FI SYSTEM

Enjoy Hi-Fi music as you drive with the fine, natural sound of the Denon* Hi-Fi Pack. The Peugeot 308 Denon Hi-Fi system is a bespoke technological achievement, including 8 speakers, a bass woofer and digital amplifier. The choice of 2 sound distributions and 5 equalizers gives the driver and passengers powerful, precise and natural sound.
