The range of engines available with the Peugeot 108 contains four efficient 3-cylinder engine-transmission units.
The new Peugeot 108 delivers maximum driving pleasure thanks to a choice of a manual 5-speed gearbox or an electronically controlled ETG5 5-speed gearbox. The latter allows the driver to enjoy both the convenience of automatic mode and the pleasure of changing gears manually, switching easily between the two.
In fully automatic mode, gear changes require no input from the driver. And should the driver decide to take control, all he needs to do at any time is move the gear lever or tap the paddles on the steering wheel.
The Stop & Start that comes with the 1l VTi 68hp engine helps cut fuel consumption and harmful gas emissions, as well as reducing the noise generated while waiting at a standstill - perfect for driving in the city.
The engines available for the 108 come from a new family of 3-cylinder models that combine economy with remarkably high performance thanks to a reduction in engine size.
The efficiency of these lighter, ultra-compact petrol engines derives from optimised combustion and a reduction in friction.
The new 1.2-litre PureTech VTi 82bhp 5-speed manual engine available for the new Peugeot 108 delivers a typically high performance combined with CO2 emissions of just 99g/km.
WLTP Values(1) : Fuel consumption from x,x to x,x (combined), WLTP (l/100 km) - CO2 Emissions (combined) WLTP : from xxx to xxx (g/km)
(1) The fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures mentioned comply with the WLTP homologation (regulation EU 2017/948). From 1 September 2018, new vehicles are type-approved using the World Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP), which is a new, more realistic test procedure for measuring fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The WLTP fully replaces the New European Drive Cycle (NEDC), which was the test procedure used previously. Due to more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions measured under the WLTP are in many cases higher compared to those measured under the NEDC. The fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures may vary depending on specific equipment, options and format of tires. Please contact your dealer for more information.
