Light is all-pervading, allowing you to easily see how these large glazed surfaces add to the feeling of well-being. You also realise how the four full-sized seats provide your passengers with the best possible travel experience.
4 full-size seats
The internal dimensions provide a passenger compartment with ample space for four adults. The remarkable feeling of space is further accentuated by the windscreen, which is set forward and has a large glazed area (2.8 m²) which allows an abundance of light into the passenger compartment.
Soundproofing & temperature control
For your wellbeing, the front windscreen and side windows are manufactured from laminated glass. This is coupled with acoustic treatment of the front windscreen and door windows. So while not impeding important signals from outside, the transmission of noise from outside is reduced. In addition, the front windscreen benefits from an athermic treatment which allows light to enter whilst filtering out infra-red rays.
Centre console
This is the nerve centre of the passenger compartment. From top to bottom it houses: multi-function display; audio system; the air conditioning control panel (automatic and dual zone) and, in the lower section: controls to disable graphic and acoustic park assist; central locking; the alarm*, hazard warning lights, the AMVAR suspension system on V6 engines and override for the ESP system. On-board communication

Boot / Loading
A weekend away, family holidays… there’s no problem accommodating your luggage in the boot. Offering practical space and a remarkable capacity for a coupé (466 litres), it incorporates a closed lateral storage area with a volume of around 10 litres*. By folding the rear seat backs and the one-piece cushion of the rear seat, you can obtain a virtually flat load floor. You then have a maximum load volume to transport luggage and bulky objects. In addition, the backrest of the rear bench seat folds 70:30 to facilitate the occasional transportation of long objects while preserving one rear passenger seat. *Except 3.0 litre V6 HDi engine.
JBL® Hi-Fi System
The passenger compartment of the 407 Coupé is equipped with a HiFi system* specially designed by JBL, an undisputed leader in sound. With its 10 speakers controlled independently by a 240 W amplification unit and its bass cabinet incorporated in the boot, this system creates an acoustic environment in which you benefit, at the front and rear, from optimal reproduction and distribution of every musical detail. *Standard according to models.
