Combining the best of the two automotive types, the Peugeot 4007 has a novel, electronically controlled integrated transmission, a powerful, latest generation 2.2 HDi particle filter diesel engine, a high degree of roadholding similar to that of Peugeot hatches and a dynamic and very well equipped interior layout.
Gear Box
The 4007 is equipped with a manual gearbox and the new automated D.C.S (Dual Clutch System). This gearbox gives the 4007 a new level of dynamism by combining all that a manual gearbox has to offer in terms of better efficiency, robustness and driving pleasure with the automatic gearbox’s advantages in terms of ease of use, and smoothness and speed of gear changes.
2.2 L HDI 156 cv FAP Engine
The engine and gearbox assembly has flare and a high level dynamic performance close to that of the results obtained by the hatches in the upper middle section of the Peugeot brand: • From 0 to 100 km/h: 9.9 seconds • From 0 to 1 000 m: 31.8 seconds • Acceleration from 80 to 120 km/h in 5th: 9.3 seconds • mixed consumption : 7,2 to 7,3 l/100km depending on the version.
