The acoustics were of prime concern, particularly with regards to engine soundproofing. The result is a high level function for this range of vehicle and this type of engine. As regards heating, the Peugeot 4007 has an automatic heating and air conditioning system fitted with a pollen and dust filter and maintains an interior temperature of between 18 and 32°C. With comfort and quality in mind, the latest telematics and audio equipment is available. The Peugeot 4007's interior has been cleverly designed and can be adjusted at will to make it multipurpose and versatile.

Touch screen navigation system
A navigation system with a 7” colour touch-screen is available on the Peugeot 4007. The 30 Gb hard disk contains maps of Europe (NAVTEQ), and has 10 Gb free space to store approximately 2000 songs, compressed in ATRAC3 plus format (128k). Controlled by a 400 MHz and 720 MIPS Renesas Navicore processor, the Navigation system also has a CD/DVD player, a 3 band radio (FM/LW/MW) and a 4 x 35 W amplifier.
