ENVIRONMENT
The engine in the Peugeot 4007 should be the paradigm of an environmentally friendly engine. The 2.2l HDi engine reduces emissions by approximately 30 % in comparison with the previous generation. It is, of course, associated with the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group's particle filter technology, the latest generation without maintenance and with high octane filter.
HDi particle filter
The latest generation 2.2 l diesel HDi particle filter engine in the Peugeot 4007, with a power of 115 kW (156 bhp) is designed to ensure a high degree of environmental protection (191 g/km of CO2).
Emissions
The 4007 meets the Euro 4 European standards on emissions. This has been achieved by using an aluminium roof to reduce the weight of the vehicle and setting gear ratios that combine performance with environmental efficiency. In addition, there has been a focus on the car’s aerodynamics, particularly the streamlining of the bodywork.
