SAFETY
With the 1007, your driving experience will be one of complete serenity: The 1007 offers a high level of both active and passive safety and houses several pieces of advanced equipment. Its design qualities were rewarded when it received 5 stars in the Euro NCAP* crash test with 36 points. (*results published in March 2005)
Visibility
The 1007 has an MPV shape and is 1.62 m in height, a layout which promotes the interior space and the user-friendly aspect of the car, giving a high and dominant driving position which ensures visibility and safety.
Isofix Seats
The rear seats are fitted with Isofix mountings with three anchoring points... and children can be monitored from the front seats, thanks to a special foldaway mirror.
Airbags
Seven airbags (of which one is in the steering column) ensure the safety of the four occupants, while a buzzer and warning lights on the display serve as a warning that a seat belt has not been buckled or has become unbuckled.
ESP, ABS, AFU
The 1007 can offer a high level of active safety including: - An ESP (electronic stability program) system including ABS, Electronic Braking Distribution, traction control and yaw control. - In addition, all 1007s have emergency brake assist and automatic illumination of the hazard warning lights in the event of rapid deceleration.
